Joey Bosa is on the mend, according to his father.
John Bosa told SiriusXM NFL radio the Chargers defensive end is “a few weeks away” from returning to the field after he suffered a foot injury.
Good news for @Chargers fans: John Bosa told @Gil_Brandt & me on @SiriusXMNFL that his son Joey is on pace to return “in a few weeks” from a foot injury. John also said his other son Nick’s groin surgery has a 10-to-12 week recovery period but he’ll be good for pre-draft workouts

Joey Bosa has been dealing with a foot injury since the offseason. It has been described as a bone bruise, and the team wanted to keep Bosa off of it to avoid surgery.
The Chargers have managed to play well without Bosa on the field as they’re 4-2 entering a Week 7 meeting with the Titans.
John Bosa’s other son, Nick Bosa, has been sidelined with a groin injury. This prompted his decision to not return to Ohio State so he can focus to preparing for the upcoming NFL draft.
According to the elder Bosa, Nick will need to take it easy after he had surgery for 10-12 weeks, but then should be ready for pre-draft workouts.
