Kyle Long will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
The 29-year-old Bears guard suffered a foot injury in his team’s 24-10 win over the Jets last weekend, according to a report from NFL Network. He is expected to miss six to eight weeks.
Sources: #Bears standout G Kyle Long is out 6-8 weeks with a foot injury suffered on Sunday. He’s getting more info, but that’s best estimate right now. A tough loss for that offense on the field and in the locker room.

The three-time Pro Bowl player could be placed on injured reserve with a plan to return, the report says.
The Bears originally selected Long out of Oregon with the 20th pick in the 2013 draft. He has started 71 games for Chicago over his six-year career.
The Bears will face the Bills in Week 9 action Sunday.
