Lakers top Suns for first win, Devin Booker strains left hamstring

Devin Booker scored a team-high 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting with seven rebounds and seven assists Wednesday, but he was forced to leave a 131-113 loss to the Lakers with a strained left hamstring.

He would not return.

Booker was replaced by Jamal Crawford with 1:41 left in the third quarter. The Suns were down 99-81 when Booker was taken out of the game.

This was the first win of the year for Los Angeles and LeBron James.

James finished with 19 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. Lance Stephenson added 23 points and eight assists while JaVale McGee chipped in 20 points.

The Lakers and Suns are both now 1-3 on the season.
