Leonard Fournette’s absence has been extended once again.
The Jaguars running back will likely be missing in action through Jacksonville’s Nov. 4 bye due to his nagging hamstring injury, ESPN reported.
The report noted Fournette, who has been ruled out Sunday against the Texans, is expected to sit out next week in London against the Eagles as he continues to recover.
Fournette initially hurt his hamstring in Jacksonville’s season-opening win against the Giants and missed the team’s next two games before returning against the Jets, though he exited early after aggravating his injury.
Jaguars coach Doug Marrone was “hopeful” Fournette would be healthy for Week 7, but he will miss his third consecutive game after sitting out losses to the Chiefs and Cowboys.
Jacksonville acquired fellow rusher Carlos Hyde from the Browns this week to fill the void while Fournette heals.
The Jaguars (3-3) are slated to host the Texans (3-3) at 1 p.m. ET.
