NFL trade rumors: Raiders WR Amari Cooper drawing interest from 3 teams

NFL trade rumors: Raiders want first-round pick in return for WR Amari Cooper

Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper is drawing interest from three different teams, despite Oakland’s reportedly high asking price of a first-round draft pick.

The Cowboys, Colts and Redskins all have inquired about the two-time Pro Bowl player, according to ESPN.

The report adds Dallas has “done an inordinate amount of due diligence” researching Cooper in recent days as the Cowboys are in dire need of a strong receiver.

Cooper, originally selected by the Raiders out of Alabama with the fourth pick in the 2015 draft, has caught 22 passes for 280 yards and a touchdown in six games this season.

He’s coming off a disappointing 2017 season, though, as he had just 48 receptions for 680 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games.

The 24-year-old receiver currently is in the concussion protocol after taking a brutal hit in Oakland’s loss to Seattle in London last week. The Raiders are on a bye this week and will not play again until Oct. 28 against Indianapolis.
