The Patriots saw one of their rising stars leave Sunday’s game against the Bears with a nasty injury.
Running back Sony Michel fumbled the ball and needed help off the field and to the locker room after he got twisted up with a couple Bears defenders early in the second quarter.

The team listed it as a left knee injury and later said he was out for the remainder of the game

With Michel out, backup Kenjon Barner and James White are the only healthy running backs available.
Michel had four carries for 22 yards before he left the game. So far in 2018, the rookie has 400 rushing yards for four touchdowns.
