Broncos running back Royce Freeman left Thursday’s 45-10 victory over the Cardinals with an injury and did not return.
Freeman suffered an ankle sprain late in Week 7’s game and could miss time as he recovers, according to ESPN.

The 22-year-old running back finished the game with 13 carries for 37 yards and a touchdown, which gives him 309 yards and four touchdowns on 71 carries through the first seven games of his NFL career.
Freeman was selected out of Oregon in the sixth round of the 2018 draft and has started in all Denver’s games so far this season.
The Broncos (3-4) will face the Chiefs (5-1) on the road Oct. 28 in Week 8 with kickoff slated for 1 p.m. ET.
