Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was unexpectedly listed as questionable on the team’s injury report Friday, ahead of Sunday’s home game against the Bears.
Tannehill particpated fully in practice Wednesday and Thursday, but was limited Friday by an issue with his throwing shoulder. If he can’t go Sunday, Brock Osweiler would get the start against Chicago’s tough Khalil Mack-led defense.
Tannehill, 30, got out to a quick start in the first three games, completing more than 70 percent of his passes for more than nine yards per attempt. But he’s struggled the past two games against first the Patriots and then the Bengals, completing 56 percent of his passes for 5.18 yards per attempt.
There is some good news for Miami’s offense, however, as left tackle Laremy Tunsil is out of the concussion protocol and is expected to play Sunday, according to NFL.com.
