LeBron James has passed Wilt Chamberlain for fifth on the all-time scoring list.
With James’ and-one free throw in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Blazers, the 2003 first-overall pick put in the 31,420th point of his career, passing Chamberlain.
The sequence was token LeBron James as the 6-8, 250-pound forward got into the paint and hit a fall-away jumper with contact and finished by making a free throw to pass Chamberlain.

James now trails only Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the all-time scoring list.
Jordan is next up on the list at 32,292 career points.
At James’ current points per game this season, the four-time MVP would pass Jordan in 33 games on Jan. 19 against the Rockets.
