Could some familiar faces be making returns to the NFL?
Former Lions and Colts coach Jim Caldwell wants to return to the league and is expected to be a candidate for head coaching positions, according to ESPN.
Caldwell has been out of the league for a year after the Lions fired him. In four seasons with Detroit, he posted a 36-28 record and has an overall coaching record of 64-54.
Meanwhile, Charlie Weis told ESPN that if the right situation came along and his wife was on board, he would love to get back into the NFL as an offensive coordinator.
The last time Weis coached in the NFL was with in 2010, when he was the offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s also been the OC of the Jets and Patriots before taking head coaching jobs at Notre Dame and Kansas.
