Cowboys' Allen Hurns says he'll be 'good to go' by start of 2019 season

NFL playoffs 2019: Cowboys WR Allen Hurns carted off field after gruesome leg injury

Allen Hurns said he will be back for the 2019 season.

The Cowboys receiver said he will be healthy for the start of next season after he suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the Cowboys’ 24-22 win Saturday over the Seahawks.

“I’ll be good to go by the beginning of the season,” Hurns told NFL Network.

Hurns’ ankle rolled under him and got tangled up during a 14-yard run and needed to be carted off the field. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones later said Hurns suffered a dislocated left ankle and a fractured fibula, among other broken bones.

He underwent surgery Saturday night.

Hurns, who signed a two-year deal with the Cowboys this offseason, had 20 catches for 295 yards and two touchdowns this season.
