NBA All-Star 2019: Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says he 'might' appear in celebrity game if LaVar Ball plays

Mark Cuban could be persuaded to play in the celebrity game at NBA All-Star weekend.

The rosters haven’t been determined yet, but the Mavericks owner said “If LaVar (Ball) plays I might have to play,” when asked about his interest Sunday.

Dallas already has a few players participating in the All-Star festivities. According to multiple reports, Dirk Nowitzki will be competing in the 3-point shootout, Dennis Smith Jr. will be in the slam dunk contest and rookie sensation Luka Doncic will take part in the skills competition.

Adding Cuban to the list of Mavericks participants would round out an interesting group for the organization. The celebrity game will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina on Feb. 15.
