The Wizards look extremely unlikely to trade guard Bradley Beal.
Washington has “zero interest” in dealing Beal, according to a report from The Athletic which cites unidentified league sources.
The Wizards have not engaged in any trade talks for Beal, but they have received plenty of calls according to the report.
Beal is in the middle of the best year of his career as he is averaging career highs in points (24.6), assists (5.1) and rebounds (5.0).
The team is also not considering trading forward Otto Porter Jr. at this point, but according to another report from The Athletic, how the next couple of weeks work out for the team could change its mind.
Washington currently sports a 20-27 record and sits 2 1/2 games out of the eighth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
