The Bears just signed a new kicker.
Chicago signed free agent Redford Jones after a workout Friday. Jones beat out several other kickers for the job.

The Bears’ Super Bowl dreams were crushed when five-year veteran Cody Parkey missed a game-winning field goal attempt against the Eagles. Parkey’s kick hit an upright and the crossbar before falling to the ground, leading to a 16-15 loss for the Bears in the wild-card round.
Jones was a place kicker at Tulsa for three seasons, converting a total of 50 field goals. His longest kick came from 51 yards out.
Chicago finished 2018-19 with a 12-4 record and won the NFC North. The Bears were just a field goal away from advancing to the second round of the playoffs.
