Andrew Ladd is done for the season.
The Islanders forward has been shut down after tearing his ACL, general manager Lou Lamoriello told reporters Tuesday. He will be out for five months.

Ladd, 33, sustained the injury Sunday against the Coyotes and is expected to have surgery this week. According to the team, he’s expected to be ready for training camp in September.
It’s been a rough season for Ladd, who missed 44 games earlier this season with a lower body injury. He returned to the ice just last month. Lamoriello said the ACL tear is not on the same leg as his previous injury.
In 26 games, Ladd has three goals and eight assists.
