Things aren’t going well for Dante Exum.
The Jazz announced Friday, the guard underwent an MRI which revealed he has torn his patellar tendon. Exum will be out indefinitely while the team evaluates what’s best for his recovery moving forward.

He suffered the injury in a 120-100 victory over the Timberwolves on Thursday.
Exum, 23, has struggled to stay healthy throughout his fourth NBA season. He has missed 26 games so far in 2018-19, and is averaging 6.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Utah is 39-29 and sits at sixth in the Western Conference standings. It has a chance to improve its winning streak to three games against Brooklyn on Saturday.
But losing Exum does substantial damage to the Jazz’s backcourt depth.
