With the 40-year-old’s appearance against the Magic on Friday, Nowitzki passed John Stockton for third all time in games played with 1,505.

Nowitzki now trails only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1,560) and Robert Parrish (1,611) in games played.
The Mavericks forward sits top-10 all time in points (7th), top 20 in 3-pointers made (11th) and top 30 in rebounds (27th).
