Jakub Voracek has been suspended two games, the NHL announced Sunday.
The Flyers forward committed an interference penalty against the Islanders on Saturday, prompting the league’s action.
The appeal for the suspension was heard Tuesday, with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman upholding the ban.
Philadelphia is slated to play Monday and Thursday against the Senators and Capitals, respectively, and will have to do so without Voracek.
Voracek, in his eighth season in Philadelphia, is the Flyers’ third-leading scorer this season with 61 points (18 goals, 43 assists).
The Flyers (33-27-8) sit at sixth in the Metropolitan Division.
