Sam Darnold has another backup.
Former Broncos starter Trevor Siemian is signing a one-year deal with the Jets, the quarterback’s agent announced Wednesday on Twitter.

Siemian went 13-11 as the Broncos’ starter in 2016 and 2017 while throwing for 5,686 yards with 30 touchdowns and 24 interceptions.
Darnold went 4-9 as New York’s starter last year. He threw for 2,865 yards with 17 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
Josh McCown, who served as Darnold’s backup at the end of the year, is undecided about coming back to play football in 2019. He went 0-3 as a starter last season.
Davis Webb has been signed to a one-year, $645,000 deal with the Jets this offseason as well.
