There’s more to Tyreek Hill’s latest accusations of violence.
According to the Kansas City Star, Overland Park police on Monday confirmed they are investigating two alleged incidents at the home of the Chiefs wide receiver and have forwarded a report to the local prosecutor’s office.
It was reported last week that Hill is under investigation for battery following an incident involving his son. An unidentified source close to Hill’s fiancee told The Star the incident resulted in the child sustaining a broken arm.
It’s unclear when the alleged incidents took place.
“The club is aware of the investigation involving Tyreek Hill,” the Chiefs said in a statement to The Star. “We’re in the process of gathering information and have been in contact with the league and local authorities. We’ll have no further comment at this time.”
Hill’s fiancee, Crystal Espinal, is the same woman he reportedly choked and punched in 2014. He was arrested and dismissed from Oklahoma State’s football team before eventually pleading guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation in August 2015. The incident was expunged from his record in August 2018 after he completed probation requirements.
Hill caught 87 passes for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns for Kansas City in 2018.
