Terms of the pending contract were not disclosed, but according to NFL Network, it’s a one-year deal.
Fowler, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft by the Jaguars, was traded to the Rams midway through last season. He recorded a total of four sacks in 2018, but really excelled in the postseason, recording 1.5 sacks, four tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits.
Los Angeles lost to New England 13-3 in Super Bowl 53 and has made keeping its fearsome defense together a priority.
