Jaguars' Leonard Fournette arrested over unpaid speeding ticket

Leonard Fournette 'in a good place' after meeting, Jaguars coach says

Leonard Fournette was arrested Thursday following a traffic stop in Florida.

According to WJX4, the Jaguars running back was charged with knowingly driving on a suspended license.

He was taken to the Duval County Jail, where he posted a $1,508 bond 24 minutes later.

The suspended license stems from a November 2018 incident in which Fournette was cited for driving 37 mph in a 25-mph zone. However, the suspension didn’t go into effect until last month because Fournette had yet to pay for the speeding ticket.

The Jaguars said they were aware of the situation, but declined to comment further, according to the report.

Fournette is coming off a disappointing season in which he was able to play in only eight games due to injuries and had just 439 rushing yards and six total touchdowns.
