Bruins winger Chris Wagner is out for at least one game.
Boston coach Bruce Cassidy told reporters Wednesday the winger would miss Game 4 against the Hurricanes. This comes after he was notably concerned about Wagner’s condition following Game 3.
“He’s not good right now, when he came off obviously in a lot of pain,” Cassidy said after the Bruins’ 2-1 Game 3 win over Carolina on Tuesday.
Wagner suffered the injury while blocking a shot off his right forearm in Game 3.

He actually opened the scoring in Game 3 with a goal, but left the game soon after and was seen in a sling after heading to the locker room.

He was set to undergo an X-ray after the game, but Cassidy did not discuss the results at his press conference Wednesday.
Wagner had two goals in the playoffs for the Bruins. Boston has had good scoring depth in the Eastern Conference finals, which has helped the team go up 3-0 on the Hurricanes.
Fortunately for Boston, Noel Acciari was a healthy scratch in Game 3 and is likely to step right back into the lineup with Wagner’s injury, so the Bruins very well may not miss a beat.
