Mike Remmers is Big Apple bound.
The Giants have signed the former Panthers and Vikings offensive tackle, according to his agent, Brett Tessler.
Tessler added that Remmers expects to play right tackle for his new team.
Happy to announce that Mike Remmers just agreed in principle to a deal with the New York Giants and is looking forward to moving back to his natural position of right tackle. His last 2 seasons playing that position he helped his teams to a Super Bowl and a NFC Championship game.

According to NFL Media, which cited unidentified sources, the two sides agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth $2.5 million. He gets $1 million fully guaranteed and another $1.5 million available that can bring it to a maximum of $4 million with play-time incentives.
Remmers also has experience with coach Pat Shurmur’s offense, since Remmers was with the Vikings when Shurmur was the team’s offensive coordinator in 2017.
Chad Wheeler, who was the starting right tackle in 2018, likely will move into a backup tackle role.
Remmers, 30, signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Oregon State with the Broncos in 2012 and has also spent time with the Buccaneers, Chargers and Rams.
He has started 64 of the 65 games he has appeared in during his seven-year career.
