Will Ziggy Ansah end up in Seattle?
The free-agent defensive end has several suitors, but NFL Media reported Wednesday that the Seahawks have been tabbed as the new favorite to sign Ansah.
Sources: The #Seahawks have emerged as the front-runner to sign star FA DE Ziggy Ansah. They visited with him in late April and need a big-time pass-rusher after dealing Frank Clark. The contract has not been finalized yet. He also visited with the #Bills, who remain interested.

The Seahawks met with Ansah in late April after trading Frank Clark to the Chiefs for draft picks. He would be expected to fill the gap that Clark left.
The Bills have also met with Ansah and reportedly still are interested in him.
The Lions kept him last season under franchise tag, paying him $17 million, but he played in only seven games because of a shoulder injury. Ansah, who turns 30 later this month, recorded four sacks, tied for fourth on the team.
In six seasons with the Lions, who drafted him No. 5 overall in the 2013 NFL Draft, Ansah had 48 sacks, 218 combined tackles and 10 forced fumbles.
