The Blues lost a key defenseman Wednesday.
Vince Dunn will not return to Game 3 after he took a puck to the mouth while trying to keep the Sharks away from the front of the net.
St. Louis announced he would not return to the game with an upper-body injury.

Dunn has two goals and five assists in the playoffs.
The 2015 second-round pick had a career year for the Blues this season tallying 12 goals and 23 assists (35 points) while playing key minutes on St. Louis’ third blue line.
With the series tied 1-1 and looking like a back-and-forth battle that could be heading for a Game 7, the Blues will need their depth on defense to account for the many talented scorers on the Sharks’ roster.
Losing Dunn will have an impact down the line if he is not able to come back and the Blues are likely hoping he has avoided a concussion, which could keep him out for an extended time period.
