The Warriors cannot sustain another injury, but they were just dealt another one as Klay Thompson has been ruled out for the rest of Game 6 with a knee injury.

Thompson was on fire in the matchup putting up 30 points midway through the third quarter.
But on a breakaway dunk, Danny Green went up to contest the shot and Thompson was thrown off balance on his way down and appeared to tweak his knee.

He stayed down for a minute and initially went to the locker room.
But, because he had been awarded two free throws he couldn’t go just yet. Had he left he would have been ineligible to come back in the game.
Some staffers went and stopped him from leaving and brought him back to the court to take the free throws.

He hit both to make the score 85-80 in favor of Golden State and then he went to the locker room after DeMarcus Cousins fouled to give him a chance to get off the court.
Thompson was the best player for the Warriors in Game 6, but if Golden State wants to win, it will have to do it in the fourth quarter without him.
