O.J. Simpson joined Twitter over the weekend, and his first tweet was… questionable.
Simpson shared a video accompanied by the caption “Coming soon!!!” as he declared with a smile that he’s “got a little getting even to do.”

“Hey Twitter world, this is yours truly,” Simpson said in the video. “Now, coming soon to Twitter, you’ll get to read all my thoughts and opinions on just about everything. Now, there’s a lot of fake OJ accounts out there. So this one, @TheRealOJ32 is the only official one. So, this should be a lot of fun. I’ve got a little getting even to do. So God bless. Take care.”
Simpson followed up with a second video late Saturday night to wish his followers a Happy Father’s Day, tweeting “Thanks to all my new followers. Love learning how to use Twitter.”

Wednesday marked 25 years since Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were found stabbed to death, igniting what would come to be known as “The Trial of the Century.”
Simpson was acquitted of the double murder of his ex-wife and her friend in 1995 but was found liable for their deaths in a civil suit filed by their families. He was later arrested on felony armed robbery and kidnapping charges in 2007 and served nine years in prison before being released in October of 2018.
Now residing in Las Vegas, Simpson recently revealed he’s just trying to live in the present.
“Life is fine,” Simpson told The Associated Press in a phone interview from his home last week. “We don’t need to go back and relive the worst day of our lives. The subject of the moment is the subject I will never revisit again. My family and I have moved on to what we call the ‘no negative zone.’ We focus on the positives.”
As of Sunday morning, Simpson is already up to 479,000 followers on Twitter.
